Classes

Whether you are 4 or 94, each class is specifically created to ensure you develop your talent and gain theatrical experience.

Academy Kids: TCTA offers a special Creative Dramatics and Story Drama class designed especially for children ages pre-school through 1st grade.

Just for Kids...we offer four different sessions (fall, winter, spring and summer) and production classes specifically developed for your rising STAR! Our faculty will make each class a truly enjoyable learning experience for your child.

For adults... it doesn't matter if you are a beginner or an experienced theatre veteran, our three adult class sessions (fall, winter, and spring) will have something for you. Sign up for a class and experience the excitement of live theatre!

Topeka Civic Theatre and Academy is devoted to excellence. We desire, above all else, to nurture and support each student and encourage them to develop his or her own imagination. The goal of Topeka Civic Theatre and Academy is to provide our students with a well-rounded theatrical education which, whether they pursue theatre or not, will expand their awareness of themselves and enrich their lives!

FALL 2008 ACADEMY CLASSES
will run September 8 - November 14, 2008

WINTER 2009 ACADEMY CLASSES
will run January 5 - March 13, 2009

SPRING 2009 ACADEMY CLASSES
will run March 23 - May 29, 2009

SUMMER 2009 THEATRE CAMP
One-week sessions for 4-6 year olds:
Session #1 runs June 1 - 5, 2009
Session #2 runs July 6 - 10, 2009

Three-week sessions for youth 7 & older:
Session #1 runs June 8 - 26, 2009
Session #2 runs July 13 - 31, 2009
