Do you have a budding talent in your house? Someone who sings, dances, acts or is full of energy, imagination, and creativity? Then this is the perfect opportunity for your little artist. Broadway Bound teaches basic acting, dance, and singing skills. Campers also use their creativity to explore props and costumes. Kids will present a short theatrical performance of a script adapted from children’s literature for family and friends on the last day of camp! Each session features a different adapted script tied to our overall session theme, so enroll in more than one session for a whole summer of fun! Snacks are provided daily for these two age groups.
PARTICIPANTS WILL NEED TO BRING: A full change of clothes, including underclothes, in a plastic bag (in case of spills or accidents) and a water bottle labeled with their name.
These campers will explore different forms of theatre performance and expression during each of the sessions. They will work as a team to create a final showcase, tying in with the session theme, which may incorporate a variety of skills such as improvisation, puppetry, dance, singing/rap, mime, theatrical makeup, costuming, etc. Campers will share their showcase of creations and performance pieces with family and friends at the end of the session.
PARTICIPANTS WILL NEED TO BRING: A sack lunch and a water bottle. Names should be clearly marked on lunches and all personal belongings. Water is available at the site.
Campers will experience all aspects of a production from concept to performance. Campers work in teams to create original scripts related to the session theme. They will act in and provide technical support like costumes, set, and props for each other’s scripts. The focus is on writing, characterization, dialogue, and performance, while also learning about technical aspects of staging a short play. Quality arts training with a chance to write, perform, and tech all rolled into one! Campers perform for family and friends the final two days of the session.

The Break-A-Leg Players camp is designed for young actors to focus on their performance skills, as well as hone their technical skills. Campers will audition, rehearse, and produce published scripts. The camp offers a combination of rehearsal and instruction to build campers’ audition skills, characterization, dance, and improv abilities. Campers may also help create set, props, and costumes and learn stage management basics. This class prepares campers to enter our Bath House Players at age 14. Two days of public performances will conclude the camp session. (Campers get two complimentary tickets and additional tickets are $3 each.)

This is a free, summer volunteer opportunity for teens!
Come join our exciting youth production company that not only has a rich 50 year history, but annually produces two full-length summer shows. The Bath House Players need energetic and creative youth ages 14 - 18 with varied talents - acting, singing, dancing and all facets of technical theatre - who enjoy the arts and are dedicated to being part of a team. Both actors and technicians need to come to auditions to fill out an application. Actors will do a performance audition. Musical auditions need a prepared song with sheet music. An accompanist will be provided. Technical applicants will be interviewed and are encouraged to bring portfolios. There is no fee to participate in this program.
