Marketing Director
Are you a multi-talented marketing professional looking to truly exercise your creative talents? Topeka Civic Theatre is looking for you! TCT is accepting applications for our Marketing Director position.
Topeka Civic Theatre, a non-profit organization, is dedicated to presenting the highest quality theatrical performances to entertain and educate our diverse community and enhance the economic vitality of the greater Topeka area. Our volunteers are at the heart of all we do. We offer a full season of comedies, dramas, musicals, and children’s productions, as well as year-round Academy classes & camps and special events.
TCT is currently seeking a Marketing Director to lead the marketing, sales, promotions, and audience engagement functions of the theatre. Graphic design and material production are also important components of this position.
The Marketing Director shall have creative energy, an entrepreneurial spirit and be committed to sharing the story of TCT to a broad and growing constituency. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the marketing activities of the theatre including annual marketing plan and budget and all promotion and engagement strategies. They will focus on developing new audiences while also deepening relationships and communication with current audiences and Academy families. The full position description can be found here.
To be considered for this position, you will need a bachelor's degree in marketing or communications. You will also need a proven track record of managing complex marketing projects to successful completion within a creative and collaborative environment.
HELEN HOCKER THEATER
Office Manager
This important position is responsible for performing a wide range of administrative and office support activities to facilitate the efficient operation of the program and conduct all box office functions.
This position works closely with our front of house volunteers and is responsible for the production of show programs and some other promotional materials.

Bus Staff
The position is responsible for various duties in support of the mission to provide added value to Topeka Civic Theatre's patrons overall experience.
Servers
Servers who would like to contribute to our Club Operations by being polite, friendly, and enthusiastic! Duties include, but are not limited to: Taking and delivering food and beverage orders, interacting extensively with patrons and other wait-staff, and nightly clean-up. The candidate must be 18 years of age or older. A general well-rounded customer service attitude is a must! Our patrons are the reason we are here – help us give them the best dinner theatre experience possible!
Bartenders
We are seeking Bartenders who would like to contribute to our Club Operations by being polite, friendly, and enthusiastic! Duties include, but are not limited to: Filling all alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage orders, interacting with wait-staff and patrons, and nightly clean-up and sanitizing of machines. The candidate must be 21 years of age or older. A general well-rounded customer service attitude is a must! Our patrons are the reason we are here – help us give them the best dinner theatre experience possible!
